Hi, I’m Sasha Zeiger.

One thing about me? I think deeply about how things connect.

In theory and in business.

For over a decade, I’ve worked in marketing, communications, and strategy. I’m drawn to the problem-solving process of connecting the right message with the right people. The challenge has been figuring out the mechanisms to be understood, remembered, and chosen.

My work is rooted in hyper-niche, geographically focused marketing because the most meaningful growth doesn’t come from reaching everyone. It comes from reaching the right people, in the right place, with intention.

I’m particularly interested in operational sustainability. We’re tired of burn out, right? I can say that aloud? Marketing doesn’t need to feel chaotic or reactive. It should function as a capable system evolving alongside your business.

That’s what I build. :) And that’s why I started Surface by Sasha. The name comes from my favorite line in the preface of my favorite book: “All art is at once surface and symbol; those who go beneath the surface do so at their peril” (The Picture of Dorian Grey, Oscar Wilde). I’m here to explore and enjoy the marketing depths with you to produce stellar and curiosity-sparking surfaces.

Outside of the business, I’m currently writing my second book (a murder mystery set in 1888 Philadelphia), and I actively engaging in public philosophical discourse, exploring themes of existence, ethics, and meaning. I love writing and reading, and I have a deep admiration for the discipline of philosophy. And coffee. Lots of coffee.

At the end of the day, both marketing and writing are about connecting and understanding. So let’s connect!
